Learn to see light and color in a new way in this two-day workshop taught by landscape painter Hilary Schenker. Whether a sunny sky, a moonlight night, or a lamp, paintings are defined by light. Through still life painting, practice learning to see value, cool versus warm, the quality of light, and to feel confident in your color choices. Each class will include a combination of demonstration and individual direction. Students may work in either acrylic or water-mixable oil paint. Everyone will leave inspired, with new tools for more expressive and realistic paintings. Open to all levels.
